Longitudinal International Students Study – AEI

The international student market is the largest export sector in Australia.

The project involved both qualitative and quantitative research, including advanced statistical analysis and modelling. This longitudinal study spanned over a 3 year period and included a benchmarking and follow-up surveys.

The study’s key objectives were to evaluate international students’ experience with their study in Australia, including identification of enablers and barriers, key drivers, uptake, retention and promotional strategies.

Australian Education International implemented the recommendations into strategies to drive further uptake and retention in the international student market.
